Frequently Asked Questions

How do I speed up a video?

Upload your video, select a speed preset (like 2x or 4x) or use the slider, and click Process. Your sped-up video downloads as MP4.

Can I create slow motion from a normal video?

Yes. Select 0.5x or 0.25x to slow your video down. Note that slowing a standard 30fps video below 0.5x may look choppy since no new frames are generated.

What happens to the audio when I change speed?

Audio pitch is preserved at the new speed by default. You can also choose to remove audio entirely, which is common for slow-motion effects.

What's the maximum speed I can set?

You can speed up to 4x (four times faster) or slow down to 0.25x (four times slower).

Is there a file size limit?

The tool handles files up to 500MB. Processing happens entirely in your browser.

Does my video get uploaded to a server?

No. All processing runs locally using FFmpeg WebAssembly. Your files never leave your device.
